Description

A challenging and never boring skitour that offers a thrilling descent in several different environments, dominated by the major Dolomite peaks.

The tour starts from the little bridge of Peziè de Parù, following the path n.

434.

While you are walking into the woods, the inclination increases until you reach Cason de Formin, a peculiar tiny log cabin.

Once you have reached the fork with the path n.

435, take this last one and follow the majestic Val Formin, alongside the west faces of Croda da Lago.

The ascent towards Forcella Adì is relatively steep, enough to be approached with skis on the back.

Once you have reached the top of the saddle, from the other side you will have the opportunity to enjoy a spectacular view on Mount Pelmo and on the whitewashed fields of Mondeval.

The descent has to be done skiing down the same route.

The couloir will give you a memorable experience: steep and narrow at the beginning, from halfway onwards the difficulty decreases and the couloir becomes wider, until reaching the beautiful Val Formin again.

The last part, in the woods, is a bit more uncomfortable but, with good snow conditions, still fun.
